A new chapter....We traded 2 American Guinea Hog/Kune-Kune pigs for goats! :)
The goats arrived on Monday morning in the middle of a flurry of other farm happenings.
Meet Mocha (mama white goat with tan spots), Zany/Xanadu the pretty tan one (who I might just need to re-name "Olivia" in honor of Olivia Newton John from the movie) and baby (her name could be "Java", but the boys say no)
Michael was home that day, and sat on the hay bale feeding them, then experimented with the "fainting" aspect of this breed of goats. Partial faint accomplished, when I creaked the door of the stall open. We won't purposely startle them, but....the boys have been intrigued with "fainting goats" since we first moved out here. :)
Baby needs a name....
