Slightly inappropriate, but hey, this is a barnyard where all the functions of life are on display, (literally) staring you in the face.
Animal needs to relieve itself? No problem, there they go. Right in front of you. Sometimes too close for comfort. Sometimes at the sound of your voice (the cows)...
Babies on the way? No privacy for their laboring mother or for them. There they are, born at your feet. If it's a baby bunny or cat, then at least their mothers find a secluded nest area.
Babies to be created? No-one is going to plug your ears to the noises being made by the parent wanna-be's, or pull the curtain to shield the eyes of sensitive viewers from the graphic birds-and-bees display playing out right...before....your....eyes....
Babies need to be fed? Everything is exposed. Come and get it!
No modesty. No embarrassment.
National Geographic style, here in the barnyard. Everything hangs out with no thoughts of personal discretion.
OK, first photo, not so bad. Basking in the sun, feeding her squealing little ones. Making happy mothering sounds.
But that next photo? I burst out laughing when I saw her. She had dug a little wallow in the mud, rolled backward into it, totally relaxed, um....milk producing parts pointing skyward, and piglets taking full advantage. :)
I startled her when I laughed, and she could hardly get her bulky body right-side up.
Last photo? "What are YOU looking at? Nothing to see here. Move along...!" Mama Bea, 9 month old Rose, and Bea's little (well-fed) babies trailing along with 10 month old Binky the barrow in the back.
